Reminds me of a couple of light fittings I have installed recently , looks great but was designed by a college student with no idea of practicality , i.e. someone who has never installed a light (or in this case ridden a bike)

I like the idea of it not being bigger than a normal bike to transport an extra bod on ... but mine are all too big now...

I never tried it when my kids were young but I would have thought cycling in traffic was dangerous enough without having the unbalancing weight of a child not to mention the fear of catastrophe I would have felt.
However I know some people happily do it so it may be me being a scaredy cat.

How would you get a kid up there in the first place?
Her legs are far too short to have been able to hop up there safely with the pedals and chain in the way and Mum needs to hold the bike upright.
