How close to Terminator will we get?

Huge data centres, where computers are called "machines." Lots of routines are getting automated. The automation itself is getting automated. Huge research in liquid metals. Nanotechnology coming along mainstream any year now. The rise of drones. The rise of cameras and face recognition. Soon, processors will be inserted inside humans. A few humans out there already have RFID chips installed. Your life in a cellphone.

But we won't stop it and nor will we be able to. Maybe in the year 2200.
