I had two MK1 Ghia saloons which I loved! All that bonnet....it was like driving a snooker table!

I used to like it until I found a picture of a road legal class winning rally/sprint/hill climber car given loads of assorted abuse about bad body kit etc. Kind of went off the site after that.

Completely the wrong engine - totally out of character. It should run a big V8. Quite like the rest of it except the chin spoilers, LEDs and naff Lambo doors!

Generally I'm in favour of modern engines/running gear in cars like that. More reliable (if done well), more power, cleaner, etc. but still maintaining looks that I remember form my past. Escorts seem very popular to mod.
That thing however fails on every level to me.
