Did he not buy anything?
Thank you bought & read today on first day of holidays set it off very nicelyThere's a remarkable book by Sheila Hocken called Emma & I
I used to ride as a pilot in a vision impaired cycling group and one of the participants said that her dog had to be retired because it suddenly refused to walk down stairs.i assume that stairs are something the dogs are trained to negotiate
My dad was blind (100%) for the last 20 or so years of his life but his sense of humour didnt disappear with his eyesight, he'd have laughed at thatHeard the one about the bloke who wanders into a butcher's shop with a Dachshund on a lead? "Hey!" says the butcher, "You can't bring that dog in here!"
"I'm blind and this is my guide dog!" replies the bloke.
"That's not a guide dog!" retorts the butcher.
"Why not?"
"Well guide dogs are usually Labradors or Alsations - big dogs."
"So what's this?" asks the bloke.
"It's a Dachshund!"
The bloke looks annoyed and walks out, muttering: "Those lying sods down at the blind centre....."
