How do you stop a small cat swinging off your curtains?

You don't, you just wait for it to pull the curtain rail out of the wall and the whole lot to fall on it, then it gives up all by itself

Merlot has been a right little sod today, giving it

all afternoon. I swear she'll not be happy until she's destroyed the place

When my cats were young one used to climb to the top of the curtain then once he was there you could see the look in his face of "Oh bugger,how do i get down" he had not grasped reversing ! Most entertaining !!!!

Think there's a thread running about cat's somewhere about throwing them in a wheelie bin, that should work.

Surely the easiest way to stop a cat doing anything would be to invite Mary Bale as a weekend guest.

Word gets around pretty quick in the cat world and i have no doubt that you would the sweetest most compliant puddy cat in the world by the end of the weekend.

Anyway, Merlot is being a good little girl today, purring, rolling on her back and generally being cute. So I can expect mayhem later.... I think her problem yesterday was because she hadn't been outside for a few days because of the rain and she was getting a bit stir crazy, and of course because she's 5 months old.

One thing I don't understand about the whole woman/cat/bin debacle, is how our nation became so irate, yet won't blink an eye at murderers, rapists, robbers and drug dealers in their midst?

I think it's called hypocrisy. As a nation, we seem to be very good at it.
