Only 4 and a bit each way. I'd quite happily do 10-15 miles though - I may need to find a more distant job!

Mine's the same distance. What I tend to do is on the way home if the weather is fairly nice and I'm not too tired is add a loop on which makes it an extra 10 and a bit miles.
This morning I needed to go to the sorting office to collect a parcel (this does mean getting up a lot earlier though and I'm not a morning person!). This adds another 8 onto the daily milage.

Mine is 11.45 miles from Thatcham to Tidmarsh. I only commute during the season of longer daylight as our working day is at least 10 hours long during term time. It is an idyllic commute on very quiet roads.

6 and a quarter miles through mostly residential roads, I moved house in Febuary, before that I had to come through the centre of the City, shorter route but a little bit more complicated. The best one was the route out to Kenilworth when I worked there. Its one of the prettiest roads into and out of a city, its a bit lumpy but a lot of it is through woods. I am working as a labourer so the fact that we have no showers is'nt a problem, if its warm enough to work up a sweat cycling in I am going to work up a sweat working.

70 miles each way.

However, I only work 2 days a week.

Good grief. How long does that take?

13.5 miles on the way to work and 14.2 on the way home. I take a slight detour to avoid Uddingston main street as its always a bit of a 'mare late afternoon

Most of it`s motorway/dual carriageway, so the answer is; not long in my BMW.

(about 1.5 hours is the official answer) it`s quality time though thanks to Radio4. The Today Programme going and stuff like thinking Allowed and Material World coming back.
