My sense of smell is very good.
I can smell if I am getting smelly and will avoid people if I can and then shower, and change my clothes, as soon as possible.
I can smell if a clean item of clothing has brushed against a stale one. Also if someone lights a match 200 yards up the road. And if a driver on the motorway is smoking weed as he/she overtakes me.

I hate BO and also perfumes and deodorants. Most 'smellies', make me nauseous, as do some smelly plants and cat pee/poo.

I can be a pain in the butt about it sometimes.

my husband frequently tells me I can smell boiling water... I always know when the kettle has just boiled!^_^
Boiling/boiled water smells and tastes different to tap water sometimes. I think it is the chlorine and fluorides being boiled off maybe.

I don't have a good sense of smell, but there are certain smells I can pick up a mile off, dope is one of them, Anyone that has smoked it recently, even outside, I can smell instantly. another one is certain types of beer, I can tell the make from even outside the room

Never for one moment suggested that it was a magnet. I suggested that decent soap and hygiene would suffice
sadly there are too many people who haven't heard of this easy fix to stinking, or are just too lazy or stupid to do it properly.

one of the reasons I started cycling to work rather than continue use public transport was getting sick of a sweaty bozzo armpit smell at 6am .

The smell of sweat does not bother me, and I do not think it ever did anyone any lasting damage.
Yebbut your face will still ache from wrinkling up your nose though.
;)

To be fair, sweat isn't a problem. It is stale sweat that has been processed by bacteria that is the problem, along with musty clothes that need another wash.

Rotting leaves is another complex smell I don't like, especially when it is in the air vents of the car.

No, you are not! At least not until you actually make them wash their hair as well and de-make up before bed. Apparently they think that dry shampoo and salt water spray does the trick just fine and they can pull the mascara out with their fingers while having breakfast..
What is salt water supposed to do .... I think they have missed that one from their repertoire! Some of mine would like in the shower ... taking more than one a day if they can get away with it, others think they will shrivel up if they let clean water near their bodies!!!
