Mine is permanently frozen; she sneakily turns the heating up and switches on the heated towel rail even though it doesn't get properly warm for 20 minutes after her shower. But she's also obsessed with airing the house so will happily run the heating with all the windows open.

I've given up arguing; I just go round switching everything off again. I have fitted thermostatic radiator valves to all the rads but haven't told her I can limit the movement of the knobs and can turn the rad down by part-closing the valve at the other end.

While I'm on the subject of subterfuge, she also cooks everything without using any salt at all. I have a secret stash of salt in the kitchen, which I use whenever I cook. Every time I cook a meal she remarks: "Food tastes so much better when somebody else has done the cooking!"

Tee hee!

Upto the salt point that could of been my OH.
And she's norwegian! its cold there for 9 months of the year "but its a different cold"
And thats why i love her (but dont live with her anymore!)
