12 in my first (proper) job, 3½ in my second before being made redundant when they went down the pan, and I've been in this one for nearly 4 years.
It's easy money but I'm only part time so it's easy but only half of what everyone else seems to get. I keep half-looking for another job, maybe something a little different but more hours.

Anyone know of any in the north or east parts of Lincolnshire?

39 years, I started as an apprentice on the railway in 1974, I fear that i won't make 40 years though, as at present i am off sick and the condition will stop me driving trains or be near the railway in the future.
Sorry to hear that, hope things work out ok for you
My current job is the longest I've had, 13 years this month (4 years working from leeds & 9 from Hull) only 18 years to go hopefully

Nearly 18 with this outfit, but then I'm only on a boat 6 months a year. Does require something of a split personality though. Tried the office for 18 months but they seemed quite unreasonably (to me) to want me there all the time. Back to sea it was then.

5 years and 18 days. 31 years to go.....

I enjoy, but as soon as I can guarantee enough income from DJing... I'm off. (BTW, this is just a dream. Chances of it happening? Slim to f*** all).

32 jobs in 3 and 1/2 years when I left school, I have worked for myself and owned many businesses for the last 38 years. As for retirement, no way I enjoy what I do too much. Never got much of an education but I have employed many that did, but I must say I am glad my sons have degree's and masters as things are different now to when I started working.

Started a new job last November. Packed in transport management after several years and went back HGV driving. Easier, less hassle, similar hours and better pay & options!
5 years until retirement unless I get the chance to pack it in sooner
