Including the 4 UK ones I have been to 15. Not that many considering how easy and relatively cheap flights are these days.

Oh and what was your favourite and where would you like to go next?

I must say I think London is a very hard place to beat as it has it all. Saying that though I have been many times so I'd say Prague as it was just me and my wife and was very romantic. The next one I want to visit is Vienna although I fear I'll just walk about with my camera planted to my face the whole time as it looks stunning.

If you.go to Wien then make sure you get the right u bahn karte .

I got arrested and fined by some little Hitler for having.bought the wrong zone or something.

It's an ok place but go to Salzburg it's nicer.

One - London. It is 25 years since I last went and I would rather not do it again. The only major city that I would actually like to go to is Edinburgh, and I suspect that once would be enough.

I've never been to Cardiff... have I missed anything?

My dad loved Rome. He was stationed there at the end of WWII and couldn't get his head round off-duty soldier pals only wanting to sit around smoking, drinking and playing cards. He always wanted to go back, but family life and low wages prevented it. In fact, having spent 4 wartime years in various parts of Europe and the Middle East, he never went abroad again. (Jerusalem was another place that he wanted to revisit.)

Berlin is probably my favorite. Such an amazing city, with great history, architecture, transport system and of course, they do some great beers!

London, Paris, Brussels, Recklinghausen, Hannover, Essen, Copenhagen. Most of these have just been passing through. I try and stay as far away from cities as possible, actually as far away from society as possible. No noise, mountains, wildlife, forests and rivers are much more enjoyable to myself.

Jeeez I sound old.
