OK, I don't admit this often, but I am a Kevin.
    There, said it.
It seems there are many more on CC. I'd wager many of them from around the early 1960s.

So Kevins, out of the closet eh?

I know three Kevins and all three of them are from the late fifties/early sixties and all three of them are gits.

At that time the other name that guaranteed unruly behaviour was Trevor.

These days with all the 'exotic' names about for naughty children the field is wide open, you would have been a Callum, Kyle, Connor, Brandon, etc....

You're not a teacher are you? You've just identified the top four 'git names'.

  7. My Sisters Brother in Law and his Wife named their child Kevin about 6 years ago!

Oddly enough he's the only Kevin at his school, can't imagine why?

I worked at a place that had 4 kevins out of a workforce of 20.
    Quite high ratio methinks.

So we had different nicknames for them

    Kev (the 1st)
    KDC
    Vek
    KV

Last year I met a bloke who was one of seventeen pupils called Jean Paul in a class of twenty three pupils.

No prizes for identifying the year of his birth.

Mohammed's popularity as a name is undiminished in the Muslim community.

Jessica is a nice middle class name. I've never met a chavette called Jessica in thirty years' worth of teaching.

Bradley is a middle ranking git name.

    Yes.

To be honest, I'd Imagine that the most common names for boys would have something like David, John, or Scott. Probably.

I don't remember any Kevins' I don't think. Some Kennys', yes, but Kevins'? No.
