OK, I don't admit this often, but I am a Kevin.
There, said it.
It seems there are many more on CC. I'd wager many of them from around the early 1960s.

So Kevins, out of the closet eh?

At that time the other name that guaranteed unruly behaviour was Trevor.

These days with all the 'exotic' names about for naughty children the field is wide open, you would have been a Callum, Kyle, Connor, Brandon, etc....

I worked at a place that had 4 kevins out of a workforce of 20.
Quite high ratio methinks.

So we had different nicknames for them

Kev (the 1st)
KDC
Vek

My Sisters Brother in Law and his Wife named their child Kevin about 6 years ago!

Oddly enough he's the only Kevin at his school, can't imagine why?

Last year I met a bloke who was one of seventeen pupils called Jean Paul in a class of twenty three pupils.

No prizes for identifying the year of his birth.

I wonder how many Bradley's, Jessica's and Mo's are being registered at the moment?

Mohammed's popularity as a name is undiminished in the Muslim community.

Jessica is a nice middle class name. I've never met a chavette called Jessica in thirty years' worth of teaching.

Bradley is a middle ranking git name.
