61 and quite a bit cycling now and then. I just love tinkering with things.

I'm 55 now and the pacemaker is 1, yet I still reach the top of the hill before friends 18 years my junior. I rode continually from the age of 4 until 18 when I got my first car. I then took up cycling again at the age of 47 when I joined Cycle Chat and someone advised me to start off by servicing the old bike at the back of the garage which I did.

Oh and had an Aortic valve replacement in 2013
An old friend of mine housed to say that cycling is a cradle to grave sport

They keep checking mine , it is enlarged but it may have been like it from new.

I'm 61. First bike built by Tommy Godwin when I was 4. My dad used on ride with him.
Rode until I was 15 and discovered motorbikes. Came back to cycling 4 years ago and now can't get enough of it!

I am 68 (69 in February)..............I cycled a lot as a teenager then on/off throughout life for commute purposes only.
Got back into it properly this year and reached my tagets of
a) a 68 mile ride
b) over 1000 in total.

But I can go from 18 - 80 in an instant.

I'm sure that, because of my maturity wisdom counsel grumpy nature and slowness, they all think I must be at least 65 ...

63 here. Another born again cyclist, having forsaken Italian V-twins for leg power. I reckon I'll live longer this way.
The quack was talking to me about hip replacement, but pedalling seems to have postponed that adventure.

Got back into cycling 6 years ago . After retireing from work .
Had a full knee operation 6 months ago am now a young 70 .

But 54 gives you two years more.

I was expecting to be afflicted by stiff, worn joints and to emit those groaning noises that old people make when they stand up but, no, just the power output gradually ebbs away.
