None out of a company of one, but trying to cycle up the stairs to the office in the attic would be a touch tricky. I do however keep the Brompton in the office and the new roadie is in the spare bedroom next door.

Whenever feasible I will cycle for business purposes, mainly to the station and then around London.

Just me out of 100. They think I'm loco.
Mind you, I work at 2,800m above sea level and it's a long 10%-average-gradient heavily potholed hill road up from where most people live to get to work. The bus and taxi drivers overtake with millimetres to spare. And petrol costs tuppenceha'penny a litre here. Buses cost 20p a ride. So I can kind of understand why most take motorised transport.

Ive no idea how many are in our office, the bike is regularly 90% full (maybe 80% on scummy days and 95% on sunny days). In my team 3 out of the 10 cycle every day; another has one of the pool bromptons and goes through stages of walking/cycling and another also cycles or walks as he sees fit.

3 out of 19.

1. Everyday (me)
2. Most days, a bso with flat tyres no brakes and a rusty chain
3. Only on sunny days, fully lycrad up roadie, clipped in for the 3/4 mile commute.

Im the only one out of about 30 employees. They have showers changing facilities and even spent £10k on a secure bike shed at the main office which is about 5-6 miles away from where i work  it contains approx 5 bikes worth up to £1000 all bought on C2W all probably done less than 50 dry miles.

The clue is in the name of the scheme C Y C L E T O W O R K. I think those who use and abuse it by never or seldom riding their bike to work should have to pay full RRP for their bike + 50% fine of the full value of their bike(s) for committing a fraud on the Revenue.

At our school 3 out 14 staff cycle...We're currently campaigning (which means whinging lots) to have proper cycle storage...even if it's just a rack...hey just thought...even the kids could use it!!!

Can beat that poor show. At the Glasgow factory where i work with a mix of around 625 office and manufacturing employees we are lucky to see around 4 - 6 in the winter maybe going up to around 8 - 10 in the summer.

In my own business unit, now down to 6, two of us for part of our journey. We both use train with Brompton in my case and Boris Bike for him to link to office in Lincoln's Inn. One other cycled in from Hackney for a year or so but she left in October.

Few more amongst the other units in the building. Many more at HQ over at St James where there's an active BUG.
