Ride It Like You Stole It!
Location
South Manchester
About 20-30 over 11 miles, either same direction or coming in the opposite direction. On the 20 miler route to/from work, less than 10, as most of it is country, and off the main commuter routes. More cyclists nearer the City though.

Depending on what time i leave i can see anywhere from 3 to 10. i live near a business park and the route i take is a prime shortcut from irlam/salford way.

I doubt I could go for a single ride unless in the middle of the night and not see a cyclist. For a start there are usually at least 4 or 5 (that I noticed) in the playground (excluding children).

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
About 5-10 each way, nearly all commuters braving the dual-carriageway.

Yes, theres a bike path elsewhere but tbh it's more dangerous riding down it due to isolation and the area it's in than mixing it with the traffic.

Even if I don't go for a ride and I'm just working in the garden I usually see a number of cyclists go by and I'm not on a main road.

None in the winter, in the summer on a busy day 2 other people might commute by bike. The funny thing is the commute from the city to work is 6 km straight and no hills a very easy ride. I never ceases to shock me that so few people in our city take their cars on such short and direct trips (In the winter I get that cycling is not for everyone).

How did you do 121 commutes to work?

I've only done 63.

I do about 3-4 each week, having started last May. Including parking costs it saves about £10 a time - and I'll need to do another 160+ to break even.
