Don't mix the grape and the grain is not a myth.I am living testament to that at the moment as i feel like s**t.
As my mam said to me after my first heavy duty hangover, 'you won't do that again will you?'

Thursday hight was half a bottle of Gin, 4 Newcastle Brown Ales and some Lager (never again!).

Finished work early on Friday for "Builders Friday" which was 12 pints of Stella.. Needless to say Chrismas Eve was alcohol free...

Christmas Day, approx 6 pints and a few Baileys (no room due to monster dinner, they wife did an excellent meal ).

Just having a glass of Baileys now and a few lagers later.

Perhaps more appropriate for the 'Mundane' thread, but i've really rowed the boat out so far...one sip of white wine with Xmas dinner (driving that afternoon), and two whole dumpy bottles of beer last night .
Blimey....i'd better ease up  Working today  but i'll have a tipple tonight.

Even for a lightweight like me...this is going to be a sober Xmas.

Bottle of Fleurie red Christmas eve,Chapel Down sparkling Christmas morning(with a cherry and pancake breakfast),Charpoutier Crozes Hermitage red in the evening.

Tonight will be a bottle of Waitrose Spanish red which is superb for the price(about £5).

My seasonal booze consumption amounted to three tins of Guinness - two on Christmas Day night and one this evening.

Some may see that as bordering on virtuous, but I've obliterated any health brownie points by eating too much.

I have managed to stay over the breathalyser limit for a couple of days.. Needless to say, I'm not at w*rk, and have not driven anywhere.
Tomorrow, I will be back on the wagon as I'll be driving one..

A glass of wine and maybe a whisky over the two or three days around. I'm moving towards cutting out alcohol entirely except for these festivals. There's almost nothing about it I enjoy now.
