If it were me and i wanted it I'd be prepared to go up to around £300, but then someone might be prepared to go higher if really keen. Mercians tend to go for a bit more than the average 531 framed bikes and have a good following. I used to have one and i like them. This one seems very tidy. As you say Martin is the man.

has it been repainted ? as it looks very tidy

as for value big frames either sell or dont i would expect £300+

It's a Mercian, I'd think the bare frame would be worth £300+.

Reading the description in detail I think the frame paint is original. Size is good for me. I'll,keep an eye on it.
