You can never have too much, i mean theres always something you need.
Tell your wife its better than being addicted to cigs, alcohol or drugs.

guess you could include the buff, but its not cycling specific and asking me how many pairs of shoes, won't get far (1 set of hiking shoes, 1 pair of hiking boots, 2 pairs of mountaineering boots, 1 set of teva saddles and 1 pair of wellies...) normal everyday shoes - none! OK maybe I'm not normal ^_^

missed the 1 pair of cycling thermal tights & 1 pair of dedicated cycling waterproofs

Your list seems very reasonable to me. You need cycling shoes though, and overshoes. Maybe a Buff?

What hobbies does Mrs Gavroche have? Does it entail a lot of kit/clothing? Shoes and handbags?
My mate Dawn says that I have too much rock climbing stuff but as she has over 400 handbags I don't think that she has any room to squark.

I feel a bit embarrassed to say I have.... 1 pair of cycling gloves. That is all.

I cycle in normal clothes, and have a pair of trainers which I've partly chosen to designate to cycling.
