Just out of interest, if the upper part of the Cordings outfitters building Cordings, 19 Piccadilly, London, W1J 0LA is/are apartments/flats, how much do you think the P.C.M rent will be? I'd love to live above this store, but something tells me the rent will be considerably more than I pay for my one bedroom flat here, close to Accrington. 🤔

A lot! There was a single room, with sink that was about 10’ x 6’ in that there London for £1800 pcm. I am thinking an awful lot more than that.

Hey, there's a similar building in Accy, with about 20 er 'apartments'.  Ok, they're above a second, third, fourth hand and so on furniture 'showroom', known locally as Smack head Towers!! I think the rent's only about £350 pcm.

Apologies, I take my comment back, it would be circa 3 weeks, not a full month of costs.

Pretty sure the smack head towers is around the corner but the door just outside your picture on the left did feature in the tv series Brassic.

The door to the left, next to Allen's Opticians? That door was to be avoided as one resident of those flats used to open it and let his XL Bully out for a shoot in the nearby chuchyard, then call it back in when it'd done its duty. That was the only 'exercise' it saw. I think he was evicted the other month.

Closest I could find on Rightmove was this 2 bed flat down the road for six grand...

Nice flat and it's furnished too. That's not bad for a posh part of London I suppose!

My son is paying £2200 pcm for a ground floor flat in Greenwich, I keep telling him to get out of the cesspit and get back home, have a better quality of life and keep more of his earnings in his pocket.
