Definately a proud bimbler - I'm not interested in speed- just enjoying the ride.
+1I dont know if theres an option for my commuting style, I generally just cycle at my own pace, enjoy my ride and go with the flow.
Same here, but I have to ride (heh, heh) a fine line between getting my exercise and letting my commute wear my legs out. My commute is already at or at least near the limit of what's practical, and my legs ache all the time. Occasionally, though, I get the urge for scalping others, but it's their fault for overtaking me in the first place!Same here, commuting is the bulk of my exercise!
It's even sweeter when I get overtaken (on my Vivente tourer) by someone on a road bike, then wear them out and overtake them over the next several km. I got a guy like that last week: he overtook me, so I stayed about 2 bike lengths behind him for the next 15km or so, until he suddenly slowed down and stopped. I reckon he was faking a mechanical problem
.The first couple of hours? Lummy! How far do you commute?
I've never ridden to/from work flat out, although i have ridden certain sections flat out. Too much stop start and I need to pace myself for the amount of miles i do.

I like to keep it a steady 5mph
Well, I work anything up to 14 hour shifts on my feet, need to conserve my energy!
