There is one old lady who cycles my route and I have been passing her every morning. She is always cheery and says hello.
A scalp is a scalp

Ashamed to say that once on the busway with a blinky in the distance, I have to chase it down.
This. I can happily go at a steady pace, but if I see someone in the distance, then I generally will do my best to reel them in and scalp them. It's annoying when they turn off just before you have them - good motivation to try harder next time.
The worst is when you scalp lots of people and then have to stop for an unscheduled deflation and they all go past with a smug look on their faces.

or when you have worked hard to pass someone and then they take some unbelievable risk to skip across the road crossings to get back ahead. There should be a universally recognised neutral area say 20 yards before and after the road crossings where any overtakes are invalid to ensure fairness.

I'll call it the "Gentelmen's Region"

ah no, wait....

I thought this was already the case - a scalp doesn't count if you're at traffic lights and such like.

I thought this too but on a number of occasions it doesn't seem to apply on the GBW, especially when you get near the college. I've also had people try to pass and outbrake me into the metal chicane things as if its Turn 1 at Monza and its ended in chaos
