Looks like today will be a day for sitting in the shade as well ! It was just over 40c yesterday stay cool2.20 euros for a small bottle of water ! Im sure they put price up as it was so hot yesterday ! After 1.5 hours driving in heat i had to pay it otherwise i would have shriveled up

(Unless you were flying and got caught by the fluids ban, in which case - yes, total rip-off!)
I read about a family finding an ice cream van at the end of a footpath up on the moors somewhere in the middle of nowhere on a hot day. The van driver was charging £5 for a can of chilled Coke. When the angry parents complained they were told that the nearest bargain supermarket was 10 miles that way --->!
