How non-religious is 'non-religious' music for a civil wedding?

In general, music without words was approved unless it was obviously a hymn, lyrics were at the discretion of the registrar conducting the service.

The leaflet doesn't say anything about lyrics or not, just that we can have up to three 'tracks' at each stage where music is allowed.

I love the more comedy ideas, which I think is partly down to a degree of nerves: my natural inclination is to have a laugh, but I don't want to overdo it!

We often listen to music while working together or in the car, and there are lots of tracks we sing along to, but we don't have an 'our tune' really.

Well, we've got a few months to think about it!
