1 out of 6 for us as well
I was about to ask the same. I live not to far from A12 in Ilford area and it scores a 1.I tried my inlaws who live just off the A12 in Ilford and it only scored a '2'. What scores a '6'? Venus?!
Did people read the bit under the score?
This is a measure of a single pollutant and, as it is postcode based, it will cover an area rather than a specific address - hence the very clear caveat.
Maybe the old Nitrogen Dioxide forge in Huddersgate. But if its a scale of 1-6, where scores above a 3?
Interesting. If you look at the Mappair maps that you can purchase (but you can get a mocked up preview of) you can see more clearly how the mapping works and how you can have a range of scores across a postcode area. If you look at central London postcodes, for example, you can see lots of red alongside roads.
It's also worth noting that Mappair is using 2016 data.
I got 1 for each of the major power station postcodes, which the NAEI have as the major NO2 pollutants.hhhm not sure where this is sourced from, my home Post Code scored a 1 which is fair enough we are surrounded by trees but the post code for what is known as the worst street in Glasgow (Hope Street) scored the same 1
