I'll bear that in mind. It has been better since I parked in the library driveway to drop a book off and had google how to insert the key fob in the steering column, while blocking the exit to all and sundry!

I know that they don't all work in the same way but the battery can become so weak that it fails to disarm the immobiliser meaning it just won't start one day.

I remember the handbrake ones. Unscrew the gear knob and off it came!

The steering Stoploks are excellent. I use one myself.

I had one of their music centres, it sounded quite nice but did blow one of the output chips at one point.
