The obvious changes are the grey hair and beard plus the loss of pace since I turned 60. The most important is what people don't see, how comfortable I feel in my own skin now, the reduction in my internal conflict over the years, I've calmed down and learnt calming techniques, the most important being the yoga quiet mind.

In between here and there
I do try not to but there are times I sound just like my Mum & Dad. C'est La Vie..... My Mum spoke fluent French and when drunk would start speaking in French in a Bretagne accent (apparently), that's something I cannot ever replicate, well the drunk maybe..

My Dad had a white suit and mirror shades at one point, cannot ever see me doing that either!

But I do get my kids to read the small print occasionally.

Only been losing pace since turning 60....if only!! Being a bit of a saddo, I have an excel file from about 20 years ago when I was in my late 30s and used to regularly average 15+ mph on my MTB, now I don't often beat that on my road bike, and on my MTB I'm down to between 12-13. I suppose it just gets worse the older you get :-(

Yes, as you get older the more noticeable it gets, I'm sure I was loosing pace before I was 60, but it wasn't a lot, it's only since I passed 60 that it's dropped of a lot. From an average as a young fella of 16-17mph to an average of 13-14mph now.
