I was told about this by a friend. Said he'd heard about a couple of blokes who'd given up their careers for a year to go and find the meaning of life. They signed on as monks. They went to Tibet and spent time with the Buddhists. They found shamans in South America and zen masters in Japan. Eventually they discovered the answer, in the company of a druid, at Glastonbury. He'd found it, he told them, on the back of a bottle of bleach: "Stand upright in a cool place."
