You have your account ready!

I most certainly do! Thank you for your advice.
It's been quite helpful to me to be quite organised about this.
I've kept a diary and have a wallet in my handbag to collect all bus and taxi tickets and receipts so I don't lose out.
Sadly still not able to ride at the moment due to the knee injury so hoping to get a physio referral soon.

You scanning the receipts & bus tickets. They fade/blacken over time. Sometimes a very short time.

Also get a formal medical assessment done.

Any damages should not only cover present injury, expenses and inconvenience, but also reasonable costs for future treatment

For instance if the damages are paid up to and complete on 1st September, who pays for the physio in October?

I think we are all spoiled by TV Police dramas where the crime gets solved within one shift.

Slightly OT...

A few years ago Our Trust had leaflets explaining that the stoty lines in Casualty and Holby were just that, and that often the expectation of patients and families was over-optimistic for that reason

Theleaflet explained that whilst we would do our best for any patient who required resuscitation, the chances of them getting up and walking home the same day were not realistic
