How big is it? I have no idea how long it takes so an indication of size would help me work out what mine might take in terms of time.
The whole of my back took 16 hours to do.
In contrast a leg tattoo I have which is 16x12cm took a couple of hours.

Why don't you get your daughters to do a kind of 'painting by numbers' with permanent ink.

You're thinking of Duran Duran there, Beebo.
Time is all dependent on the style you go for level of detail and/or colour and the artist doing the work, ive sen some massive pieces that have taken 15 hrs thereabouts and some smaller half sleeves that have hit 30 hours... You need to talk to your artist. Surface area of mine is about 2 thirds the size of a piece of A4 but its very detailed.
