Same here, though I use a grass box or the dogs tramp the clippings through the house.I'm lucky as my lawn is very small, so we just have an old fashioned push mower (no electric). I keep it short and leave the clippings, they disapear after a couple of days and act as a feed for the lawn!

My mother in law has a fake lawn too.. and was very surprised when I fist saw it at how good and real it looks.
Sounds just my thing as i regard the garden as nice to look at but a depressing waste of time otherwise-do you wash and brush the lawn or comb it-sounds ideal for me.A friend of mine has fake grass. He got it cos his lawn was constantly churned up by his two football mad kids. It actually looks fantastic and is more or less maintenance free.
