Wouldn't catch me doing that. Unless I had a good tail wind I was using it to sail along with.

In my experience, umbrellas usually blow inside out even when walking. I would hate to think what would happen even at relatively modest cycling speeds.

The poor boy obviously didn't want his make-up to run.

Next time, retain some dignity and use public transport!

Saw someone doing that the other day and whilst momentarily amusing, I thought he's going to get himself, and possibly another road user, into a lot of trouble any second.
I can't even begin to understand what sort of thought process, if any, concluded this was a sensible thing to do on a bike at speed.

Nothing wrong with that. Seen whole families perched on a bike with the woman keeping her brood dry with an umbrella.

Doesn't matter if the whole family get crushed under a truck, just as long as the little petals don't get wet.

That's the important thing, innit.

Do you think a family that has 1 bike to ferry themselves to work & get the kids to school has a choice???? Get real man
