Well, it's 3rd January, and so far...

Heavy rain has brought down a tree and a wall in my garden, I'm facing a huge bill for my car, and I've lost the crown on one of my teeth.

Not a happy bunny!

I broke a tooth last night on a stubborn toffee. Serves me right really. Think Zammo! Just say NO.
The wind and rain has caused my back garden to turn into a swamp, the drainage is just poo. We've been out in wellies and forked it all over to see if we can encourage some sort of drainage but it's probably too little too late.

MOT due next week too. Gloom.

Well i have slept through a lot of it but i did achieve a 3 miles walk yesterday although i have paid for it today. My return to full health may not be as quick as i had hoped.

Nothing to report here. Started one of my new jigsaw puzzle . Been at it all day as weather too bad to go out. Maybe back at work tomorrow or maybe not.

Blimey, even my January is better than some of this.

Just bored being in hospital. I finally got all the claim info together for the solicitor, so I emailed that earlier. Some nice pics of my bruises, me in an oxygen mask, broken back xrays, and a photo of the text from the driver apologising saying it was a genuine accident (so if that's not partly an admission I don't know what is). Been handy having the laptop in hospital as I was able to sort this all out and get the text message photo'ed from the built in web cam. Xray copies were phone photos of the computer screen in the hospital.

Oh, i've lost 4kg. Down side is most will be muscle and a little fat.

I've had a ride, a run, two long walks and no chocolate. Unfortunately it's back to work tomorrow.

@Fnaar could you get Miss Goodbody to come round and deal with your collapsed trunk?

I lost 34lbs after 3 weeks in hospital @fossyant ,not all hospital food but you do shed loads while laid up.i was around 12 stone and lean ..i looked terrible when i left..34 waist to 28..

Baby's levelled up. Now eating toast and blowing raspberries.

Foot's on the mend, just got a cough again, been working through the break barring 4 days but have a new colleague in the team tomorrow so that should ease the load a bit at work.
Overall, good. Grandaughters stayed over, always a pleasure, even when 2 YO Yasmine puked all over herself and the floor , had a nice time when off work...shame I havnt been able to get out on the bike.

My beard usually gets a bit of an outing over Christmas as I give my skin a rest. Might need to see the doctor as some of it appears to not be as black as normal.

Hope it's nothing serious.
