Hi,

Just a heads up for anyone that uses their smart phone's for Strava etc. The GPS is renound to NOT work on the HTC One X.

Warranty repairs often seen to NOT fix the problem.

I upgraded a few months ago from a faultless HTX desire HD to a new HTC One X that has been for repair of the camera (a new system board) and now I've started using it for Strava I found this fault, and looked on the internet for a fix.

I was using my old phone for strava etc as the phone is smaller, but without a Simm I'm unable to call for help if I have a problem.

Here is the fix.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1930094

The fault is caused by the connection between the phone and the GPS antenna needing tweaking. While it's easy to fix, most people in the know suggest getting it repaired under warranty. It seems that it's not always fixed by the repair, and in Ireland it took me 8 weeks to get the system board repaired under warranty.

So, I'm not going to sent the phone in and wait up to 8 weeks to hope that they fix the fault.
