Am I right in thinking this is a Hyperglide cassette type? Have just removed an old 7 speed from it.

Could be either Uniglide or Hyperglide - that hub looks like one that will take both types of cassette.
If the bit you unscrewed engaged with the threads on the outside of the freehub body it was a Uniglide cassette. If it engaged with the threads on the inside it was a Hyperglide cassette.
