Looks like I'm getting wet on the commute tomorrow, but cant be any wetter than on the Big GWonder if the Big G reunion will be drier?
Do you use the new cycle path to Beverley much Craig? I've used it once & much safer than the road.
Yes used it a few times & if I still commuted that way (in winter) would have been most welcome ,
For a £800k project it has 3 faults
Tickton end - the island (& path to) in the middle is too small can only hold 4 bikes - the old one was better, though now has a no cycling sign
(& speed limit to fast)
Middle floods as path is below the camber / water line - even the 'new flood pond' does not work when 'actual' rain hits it ..
Leven end can't access from the other side of the road , due to speed of road & roundabout blocking visability , even though there is a layby which could have been used for access across & dropped curb on the other side
& from our village dangerous roundabout / junction for unconfident beginners / children etc ...
