Good luck with the cycling and YES... far better then the bus! I used to get the 87 every day but now it's very rare that I use public transport to commute

Thankyou very much for that info SD! I may still initially consider getting a proper LBK to service it first while I gather the knowledge, but maintaining my own bike is definitely my goal. I'll look at the sites you've given first and see how that goes.
