Excellent bike, good spec for the money. All Giants represent good value as they also manufacture for many other brands. I have one that is 20 years old and still going strong.

I can also Recommend the Pinnacle range from Evans. My wife has the Stratus 3.0 and it's been a cracking bike - she loves it.

looking at the spec gearing looks to be on the high side my g/f has a trek gearing is far4 lower..

im assuming she knows what type of hybrid she wants as the rapid is at the road bike end of the spectrum, essentially its a flat handlebarred road bike. probably not do any better than at for the price. she needs to test some diffrent ones out thoug before buying!
