Hybrid In Sportives

I love this forum! I was wondering that. I've got a flat bar road bike....(is that a hybrid? or is there a subtle difference?)

That's what i have at the moment, i'm pretty sure they're hybrids.

I ride 100 mile sportives on my specialized sirrus and nothing makes my smile more than passing someone on an expensive roadbike, but its really all about enjoying the ride it doesnt matter what you ride

You will be in the minority, i would say 90% will be on some sort of drop bar bike. But a small number will be one hybrids or even mtb.
Ride it, and enjoy it.

i did a 140 mile charity ride last year from bournemouth to brighton and i would say a gd 40% of the bikes were hybrids of some sort.
