Today I decided to do a job for myself for a change and replace the pads in my avid juicy's. Problem is the rear one seems to be closed on the rotar with no gaps at all! The wheel isn't fully stuck but only spins for a very short while before coming to an abrupt stop. The lever is slack with little or no resisitance.
Can anybody help me with the solution to this problem please?
I pushed the pistons all the way back before fitting the new pads and had no problem with the front so I really do not know what went wrong. I have also tried to center the caliper but the pads are simply too close to the rotar for this to make any noticable business.
Any help would be most welcome and appreciated.

Push the pistons back again and pump the lever till you have a strong pressure point.

If one side is touching more than the other you could calibrate it.
Unscrew the brake caliper so that you can move it slightly and then pull the lever and hold it. Tighten the brake caliper again and voila.
