Hydraulic Brakes

Hi all

I have Avid Elixir 5 brakes and I want to replace for a new set. Can you advise what I can replace them with.
I don’t want to go mega high end just something reasonable.

Shimano ,see what your budget allows, Deore are very good at a low price point.

SRAM Level also if looking at another manufacturer. What sort of riding are you doing, anything that needs bigger brakes ?

I got some shimano deor M6000 from Merlin Cycles front and rear full kit. £103.00 delivered.

I‘ve got bikes with Formula, SRAM and Hayes brakes on them - they've all been good at stopping and caused no issues. Probably worth looking on various bike bits websites and seeing what’s available. You need to make sure the calipers will fit your frame and fork (flat/post/IS mount) or can be adapted to fit.
