Zoiders, I don't want to be rude but you have no idea what I am doing with the caliper in my original question and you are not adding anything useful to the actual issue I was seeking information about.
I am not asking about the positon of the caliper, nor am I fiddling with the design of the caliper, nor am I looking to patent anything.
I am just asking if one has been abused to the point of the lugs breaking off. The consensus so far has been no. My question has been answered.
My ponderings about the fork mounting has also been answered.
Repeatedly telling me that I am 'over thinking' something when you don't know what I am doing or thinking of doing isn't useful TBH and the debate about what you think you know about what I am doing when you don't know what I am doing is pointless.
