I actually got blown off the bike this morning!!!

That reminds me of when I first got clipless pedals - I had to stop suddenly, but instead of going over sideways, I somehow managed to leap over the handlebars with the bike already at an odd angle and land on my feet with the bike behind me.

Still don't quite know how I managed it, but I did!

I managed to something similar on a descent with a mountain bike. Monentarily I thought that I had had the bike snatched from underneath me.

i had the same experiance not long ago , luckly no damage to man or machine
