Got my winter gear, all dressed up. Weather looks good, blue sky no rain. So off i set into an icy biting wind !!
Wind found its way into everything even through thermal socks :-(
So i came home
I am therefore a certified WIMP

Once my feet are cold its game over, overshoes are the best thing since sliced bread as they keep the cold and rain out.

i work outdoors all year round so i can not wimp out if its cold or raining . if its cold and raining then i wimp out and light the fire , get a mug of tea a ginger biscuit . lovely . you did the right thing

My worry of weather is not just it is cold but it was too slippery. Climbing the hill was fine but going down was scary. I just run to keep myself fit till weather improves.

Me, I ride in all weathers. But then I'm in the hills in Yorkshire and probably a certified lunatic.

It takes me about 30 minutes to put on my 4 layers on top,three below,my head gear and helmet, then overshoes,then pump up my tyres every time i set off on a ride. There's no way

SUNNY France yea for about 2 weeks a year, its very grim during the winter months - all 9 of them

There is no such thing as bad weather. It is wrong cloths.
