The reason being is because the Marianas Trench has been under less water than I have on my commute lately. It also means I have to ride my POS motorcycle (I dont have a c** license) to work instead of my old road bicycle. This pisses me off. Its even more maddening that the Titanic is more likely to see direct sunlight over the next couple of days. If our weather was some bloke, I would stab him quite a lot.

Lets hope the bank holiday weather will make up for it.

As long as I breathe, I attack.

Thats as good a prediction as any. I like how the cloud has a silver lining at least.....
Im working anyway , they moved our bank holiday day to earlier in the year when production forecast was slow and now we are working all the hours god sends as its fill the show rooms with face-lifts to the cars we make .

I'm waiting for the deluge to arrive but on the whole I think I've had fewer wet rides this year than normal, though more wind!

This is without doubt the worst summer I can remember, ever; and it's not as if others have been all that good!
It has been wet, wet, wet; with a load of wind thrown in. It hasn't even been remotely warm. As it is now approaching September I have written off this year as not having a summer at all.
I have a house which badly needs the exterior painting, and I have been putting it off all year, waiting for the weather to improve. Today I finally got started! Managed to paint about one third of the rear facing side. It was actually quite warm today for once, but a strong east wind. Back to work tomorrow; showers forecast for the rest of the week, and away from home next weekend. I'm not confident of fast progress with this house painting - and the cycling is going to have to take a back seat until it's done .

If you had voted for independence you could have organised your own weather!
