Carbon fibre... LMAO!!!
Wish I could. My balance is crap atm so by the time I feel safe enough to ride, my bike will have disintegrated through old age.

Have fun. I love snow riding ^_^

Well I have been out and had a thoroughly good time riding in the snow. Studded tyres make such a lot of difference, the difference between slipping and sliding and staying upright. My bike is now in the garage gradually warming up and dripping on the floor as bits of snow melt, and I am in the kitchen supping a mug of tomato soup. Happy days.

How much does it cost to Oldham?
Did a couple of laps of a crispy Clayton Vale. Unfortunately I stood in a puddle early on so I left a couple of toes in my shoe two hours later when I took em off. Good fun though.

Funny, I did the same numerous times yesterday trying to escape the patches of thick ice. You would think someone would have come up with a solution to that by now.
you local then Slick?

I just about managed a trip to the shops on the road bike, had to dismount on the couple of steep roads, but the flatter roads were either on the slippy side but dead quiet with the few drivers going at walking pace, or there had been enough cars to turn the snow to slush which was fine to cycle on.

Do wish my other half's mountain bike wasn't still in the process of being rebuilt after the accident as I'm desperate to go out on something that grips a bit better!
