I beat the puncture fairy...

Given my bike its weekly clean after getting grubby last week, I noticed this on my back wheel.
The structure of the tyre was shot but it never burst, these were the default kenda 23mm tyres on the bike which Ive now swapped out with some schwalbe blizzards which I picked up last year cheap. I did notice a bit of wobble on Thursday but the roads by me are crap so just put it down to that.

I had a OE fit Kenda on my Carerra TDF, which did almost exactly the same thing.

The tyre was less than a month old (to me) when I spotted it - the sidewall was bulging out inexplicably.

Changed both for Continentals (ultra sport). Much better tyre in my opinion.

Yes, I prefer Contis as well - not let me down yet.

I would have said that a while ago but my last 4 conti Gran Prix's have let me down, all have failed at the side wall I've decided to give Mitch Kyrlions a go for a change.
