Summer? Let me tell you about SUMMER! We have just finished a 10-day span of 100°F+ temperatures. (My handy-dandy Fahrenheit to Celsius convertor tells me that 100°F = 37.8°Celsius). On one day, we hit 109°F (42.8°C). On some of those days, riding felt just like turning a blow-dryer on your face. My eyes were burning, and felt very dry. I hope we don't get a streak like that again!

Last night in Derby it rained. It rained a lot. It rained a lot for a long time.

This morning the bloke across the road has started knocking together something that looks suspiciously like an ark and I can't find our cat anywhere.

Flaming wet here. Still went the long way to work. Light rain just 6 miles from home as the crow flies ! Weird.

3 commutes. 3 dry rides. Though some of the back routes I use still has standing water from the weekends deluge. Not looking good for tonight's commute home though
