The weather and my hectic home life eventually synced today and I was EVENTUALLY able to take my steed out for a test ride.
One word SWEEEEET. I really see a huge benefit with the upgraded groupset.
The 105 shifting is so sweet compared to the Sora and the braking so much more efficient.
Also, the gear ratios are closer too so very smooth going either way .
The only thing I'll need more practice to get right is with the triple, shifting between chainrings I only needed to up or downshift one gear to retain my cadence.
With the compact double I find I need 3 to 4 gears to keep the cadence the same.
Gimme a few more rides and I should be OK
