I felt old yesterday, or it might have been the day before..
Reading the thread about what would I do if there was no telephone or internet. I could quite easily carry on as normal using the postal system, or visiting someone to talk to them.
It never ceases to amaze me how thick people sound when you hear them saying things like
'What did we ever do before we had Mobiles??' and so on.
I'm 28, and even I know what we did before then!! Heck, I remember what we did before the internet for crying out loud!
Annnyway, I was talking to a fellow Rail Enthusiast (don't ask) I had just met a month or two ago about photographing at a certain location in mist/fog. I was talking about a picture I took about 10 years ago (I know this because of the traction involved, a class 303 and also when it was), only for the other guy to tell me his age.
He'd have been 10 when I took that picture, even though it just seemed like yesterday to me!
