I've searched and can't find another thread on this but apologies if it's been done already. Interesting article on a "chocolate helps you lose weight" story which did the rounds a while ago and well worth a read.

I reckon a bit of basic fact checking would have stopped the article(s) seeing light of day but equally reduced the click revenues. Maybe the job of journalism has changed. We ought draw our own conclusions.

The mail publish a lot of health stories relating to anything and everything. On the plus side you get a balanced view of everything but I'd never go off one article! Correlation is not equal causation.
