The cycling's fine. It could be better, but it's better than a lot of places in terms of provision. The cyclists there seem to be really competetive though which I find dead funny. It's more the place really. I feel sorry for any tourists arriving at that dump of a station expecting 'historic Cambridge'. It's permanently traffic clogged, polluted streets etc - just seems such a shame. The planners also seem hell bent on turning it into a place twice as big which will wreck it even further.

The bit I hate is when you get out of the city itself and into the surrounds as I find that it's as soon as impatient motorists get out of the city where they expect to be travelling slowly that they put the foot on the accelerator and pass a bit too close, too fast in their impatience to get by.
